The Opportunity

As the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, you will oversee and support the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. You will supervise and train mechanics, implement and monitor the preventative maintenance program, and coordinate with production leaders to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You'll manage parts inventory, troubleshoot equipment issues, enforce safety standards, and maintain a clean, organized shop environment. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across maintenance activities.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and delegate maintenance projects to mechanics to support production.
• Implement and monitor the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and train subordinates on correct PM methods.
• Maintain parts inventory and maintenance supplies; alert the appropriate party for ordering to avoid shortages.
• Train other mechanics and assist as needed to maximize efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager and Production Supervisors to determine production line or project needs to support production activities.
• Keep the Maintenance Shop clean and organized; prioritize safety and train team on hazards related to machines, welding, cutting, drilling, milling, or other mechanical activities.
• Assist workers in troubleshooting malfunctions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Direct other mechanics on efficient dismantling and assembly of equipment to maximize productivity.
• Estimate the time required to troubleshoot, repair, and re-set up machines to maximize productivity.
• Enforce safety rules and report unsafe acts to the Plant Director for potential disciplinary actions per the Employee Handbook.
• Recommend methods to improve equipment performance or tooling to maximize quality and minimize downtime.
• Analyze and resolve work problems related to employee issues or workflow.
• Follow and enforce company policies, including safety, SOPs, GMPs, attendance, meal breaks, and harassment policies.
• Directly reports to the Plant Director.

Salary information : a reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is $100,000 - $110,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and education.
