Job descriptionWork in an acute care setting that includes both inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy services Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm Candidates may be assigned to general inpatient, rehab, sub-acute, or outpatient clinic locations based on need Diverse patient population including ortho, neuro, pediatrics, bariatrics, cardiac, ICU, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and brain injury cases Outpatient clinics include locations in the Hueme and Oxnard areas, serving a variety of diagnoses and patient types Must work either every Saturday or every Sunday, with one major and one minor holiday as part of the perm staff rotation EMR used is Cerner and experience is required Rehab Aides / OTA / PTA support is not provided Job duties may include inpatient rehab, general medical, surgical, bariatric, ICU, and cardiac cases as well as outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro, pediatrics, and lymphedema treatment Candidates will receive a floor-specific orientation of 3 shifts Team includes PT, OT, and Speech staff; speech therapy experience is not required for OT positions Dress code requires a provided polo with khakis or black pants Participation in perm staff holiday and weekend rotation is required Candidates may not have been directly employed by any affiliated facility within the past year unless PRN through outside agencies Permanent residence rules apply for select states as determined by driver's license address Current, active OT license required for consideration (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of relevant occupational therapy experience Current BLS certification required Cerner EMR experience required Must provide 2 professional references : one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, with dates of employment and rehire eligibility Copy of driver's license required Swallow studies experience preferred but not required High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
