American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and active licensure for a 13-week acute care assignment, requiring BLS and Cerner EMR experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting that includes both inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy servicesDay shift schedule with 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pmCandidates may be assigned to general inpatient, rehab, sub-acute, or outpatient clinic locations based on needDiverse patient population including ortho, neuro, pediatrics, bariatrics, cardiac, ICU, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and brain injury casesOutpatient clinics include locations in the Hueme and Oxnard areas, serving a variety of diagnoses and patient typesMust work either every Saturday or every Sunday, with one major and one minor holiday as part of the perm staff rotationEMR used is Cerner and experience is requiredRehab Aides / OTA / PTA support is not providedJob duties may include inpatient rehab, general medical, surgical, bariatric, ICU, and cardiac cases as well as outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro, pediatrics, and lymphedema treatmentCandidates will receive a floor-specific orientation of 3 shiftsTeam includes PT, OT, and Speech staff; speech therapy experience is not required for OT positionsDress code requires a provided polo with khakis or black pantsParticipation in perm staff holiday and weekend rotation is requiredCandidates may not have been directly employed by any affiliated facility within the past year unless PRN through outside agenciesPermanent residence rules apply for select states as determined by driver's license address\n \n Requirements\n
