Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Active Iowa RN license (required for Iowa healthcare jobs)

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Ability to float to Emergency Room (ER) as needed

First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and accurately document care using EPIC EMR

Float to ER and other acute care units as required

Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
