Security Officer - Retail Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests, provide outstanding customer service, and support a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving position. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 06 : 30 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 30 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 30 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any unusual incidents, property damage, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
  • Work closely with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts.
  • Remain visible and approachable to customers and employees to provide assistance and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
