Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

In this role you will :

• Direct Care Teams : Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications : Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans : Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies federal guidelines and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments : Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders : Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care : Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports : Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff : Implement nursing policies and procedures educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards : Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs : Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
