Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting Primary focus on cardiovascular cases, with additional cases in robotics and general surgery as needed Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week from 6 : 15am to 4 : 15pm On-call required as part of the schedule Use of EPIC for electronic medical records is required May be assigned to an Emergency Team during hurricanes with the expectation to remain at the facility during a storm or be part of the relief team Candidates must be comfortable working in a region impacted by hurricanes, especially during hurricane season (June 1 - Nov 30) All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) RTO must be submitted and approved during the interview process Be prepared to work across multiple surgical specialties if required Requirements Active LA or Compact RN license required Minimum 3 years of OR circulator experience, specifically in cardiovascular cases Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular procedures Experience with robotics and general surgery service lines preferred Prior experience with EPIC EMR required Candidates must live at least 65 miles from the facility First-time travelers will not be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622302.
