Thompson Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in civil engineering, team development, client relationship management, and strategic market engagement.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, mentoring staff, and driving business growth.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical staff
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Support professional development and performance management initiatives
Serve as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Translate client objectives into actionable project plans
Lead proposal development and deliver compelling client presentations
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company strategy
Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to enhance market presence
Oversee civil engineering design, permitting, and construction processes
Review and approve technical deliverables to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges across all project phases
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Proven experience in civil infrastructure projects, team leadership, and client management
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
