1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Position Summary 1st Shift

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to support our flooring trims manufacturing operations. This role is crucial to minimizing downtime and ensuring all production equipment including high-speed wrapping lines, molding, forming lines, cutting machines, shrink wrapping equipment, and material handling systems run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery used in the manufacturing of flooring trims.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and upgrades.
• Maintain all work order records and preventative maintenance schedules within CMMS.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Support compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, including
• Lockout / Tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and equipment guarding.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and report equipment wear, potential failures, or unsafe conditions.
• Help ensure the plant meets manufacturing KPIs and other performance metrics.
• Execution of 5S within plant maintenance and other work areas.
