Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations in Fremont, California. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in payroll management, account reconciliations, and compliance with multi-state regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll processes while supporting related financial tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of approximately 240 employees, including 100 contract staff.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations to ensure compliance with varying state regulations.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations of accounts, including credit card transactions, bank statements, and ledger balances.
• Verify the accuracy of payroll data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle payments reconciliation and ensure timely processing of employee compensation.
• Maintain and renew business licenses, monitor sales tax obligations, and oversee insurance documentation.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite for payroll processing and financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed reports on payroll activity and account reconciliations for management review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and provide support.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations in all payroll activities.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration, including full-cycle payroll.
• Proficiency in multi-state payroll processing and familiarity with compliance requirements.
• Expertise in using ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite for payroll and financial tasks.
• Strong skills in account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and ledger accounts.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Experience managing payroll for medium-sized organizations (101-500 employees).
• Knowledge of sales tax, business licenses, and insurance-related processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
