Overview
Seeking a logistics and operations coordinator to contribute to the supply chain – manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution of products. The primary role is to coordinate and oversee processes in production planning, manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, and delivery of finished goods to customers and consumers. Working as a member of the operations team, this role will play a crucial part in the distribution of goods.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor Supply Chain Operations
- Process and Create Purchase Orders
- Ensure all orders are processed and scheduled for production by manufacturing facilities.
- Supervise manufacturers and confirm that manufacturers possess the appropriate requirements to timely fulfill orders.
- Communicate with manufacturers, vendors, customers, etc. to ensure seamless transitions and satisfaction.
- Plan and track shipment of inventory per company guidelines.
- Keep logs and records of inventory, executed orders, etc.
- Inventory control for all raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, etc.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports as needed.
- Assist in sending, receiving, organizing, and managing samples with trade partners.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Any other tasks assigned as necessary.
