Technical Instructor

Our client, a leader in Environmental Health & Safety, is seeking a Technical Instructor to join their team. As a Technical Instructor, you will be part of the Learning & Development team supporting operations in ensuring a robust safety culture. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for workplace safety, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title : Technical Instructor Location : Austin, TX What's the Job? Develop and deliver technical EHS training sessions (classroom, virtual, and hands-on) on topics such as Lockout / Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Fall Protection. Facilitate onboarding safety training for new hires, contractors, and site visitors. Evaluate learner performance through knowledge checks and technical evaluations to verify safe work practices. Collaborate with EHS, Operations, and HR teams to identify training gaps and customize programs accordingly. Maintain training materials and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. What's Needed? 3 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Technical Training, or Industrial Operations. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations. Experience facilitating technical or safety-focused training sessions for frontline workers. Ability to communicate complex safety concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
