AutoCAD Draftsman/Drafter Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Use AutoCAD to develop and modify detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints for buildings, structures, or systems based on specifications.

• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret concepts, sketches, and instructions.

• Participate in design reviews, incorporating feedback to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.

• Communicate with other departments to align project timelines, address technical issues, and verify details.

• Perform quality control checks to ensure drawings meet accuracy, clarity, and technical specifications.

• Organize and maintain all drawing files in a systematic, accessible manner within the company’s system.

AutoCAD Draftsman/Drafter Shift Info

• Day Shift, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Plus Overtime!

• Monday - Friday

AutoCAD Draftsman/Drafter Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in drafting or a similar role, preferably with a focus on AutoCAD.

• High proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce highly accurate work.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design and technical issues.

• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey technical information to team members.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Strong understanding of drafting standards, engineering principles, and design practices

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• High level of accuracy and precision in drafting and modeling

• Meticulous approach to checking and verifying work for errors and inconsistencies
