Job Summary
- Seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist
- Role involves developing tools and methods to analyze, exploit, and break modern encryption schemes to support national security objectives
- Candidates must have a strong foundation in computer science, cryptography, and mathematics, along with the creativity and persistence to solve hard technical problems
Primary Responsibilities
Perform anlytics maintenance and developmentConduct cryptanalysis of encrypted communications, protocols, and data at restDevelop and implement software tools to assist in the identification, analysis, and exploitation of encrypted or encoded informationCollaborate with mathematicians, engineers, and intelligence analysts to create custom solutionsReverse-engineer proprietary or adversarial cryptographic systems and algorithmsApply statistical, machine learning, and algorithmic methods to extract useful data from protected signalsRequired Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret / SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMaster's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of relevant experience, Associate's Degree with 13 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the positionDegree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical fieldRequires a strong networking background to support EDO analyticsFamiliarity with the customer analyst toolsAn ideal candidate will also have Python, Pyspark, and GM experienceDesired Qualifications
