ER Registration Full-Time Position
This is a full-time position in the ER Registration working 12-hour shifts three days a week, which could be any day of the week. Work cross-functionally to assist the manager or supervisor in the operations & staffing of varied Patient Access areas & activities including but not limited to registration, scheduling, financial clearance & emergency department. Coordinate & prioritize patient flow to ensure smooth distribution of workload to the Patient Registration Representatives to expedite customer service, patient safety & patient throughput. Assist in the development of policies & procedures for patient information, wayfinding, office management, patient registration, financial screening, point of service collections, patient check-in processes & patient placement. Lead & coordinate the onsite orientation of new colleagues, is an active participant in the ongoing education of colleagues & makes recommendations to management regarding performance evaluations.
