DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this part-time County Social Services Aide 1 position, you will serve as a Decision Support Center Peer Specialist. This involves teaching and assisting consumers in developing and writing goals. Collaboration is key as you will work with consumers to develop a treatment plan for their psychiatry appointment, work with other mental health staff, and complete other duties as needed to facilitate each consumer's goal attainment as it aligns with their plan. Helping consumers learn about and access recovery resources related to their individual service plan and assisting consumers and their families with activities of daily living are other important ways you will contribute to each person's healing and development process.
