Production Planner

Position : Production Planner

Location : Piney Flats, TN

Duration : 6Months

Job Type : Temporary Assignment

Work Type : Onsite

Shift : (06 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM)

Job Description :

• Five Plus years of planning experience (Manufacturing / MOD / Overhaul)
• Bill of Material alignment
• Efficiency flow through planning validation
• Preparation of work instructions for conversion from CostPoint to SAP CAMS
• Ability to work with the manufacturing floor constructively
• Interpret drawings and transfer process specifications and bills of material (BOMs) to Work Orders
• Experience with SAP conversions
• Maintain work orders / Engineering Masters in accordance with engineering drawings, engineering change orders (ECOs), and other directives
• Prioritize work for production by interpreting MRP and other data, and balancing workload accordingly
• Advise Sales on delivery dates / Lead times
• Track work orders / project progression through manufacturing process
• Work with Engineering on any outstanding engineering change requests (ECRs) or changes to be made to work orders / Engineering Master
• Coordinate delivery of stocked components from finished goods warehouse
• Provide updates for and participate in weekly update meetings
• Help reduce number of aged work orders
• Monitor material availability
• Work within AS9100, ITAR, DOT, and other regulatory guidelines
• Close and file work order per AS9100 standards as required
• Duration will be for four-six months
