Registered Nurse Inpatient Radiology PACU

We are searching for a Registered Nurse for our Radiology PACU – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide nursing care to patients having a diagnostic imaging study, ensuring patient comfort and safety while collaborating with the department to optimize patient throughput.

The Radiology PACU will prep and recovery image sedation and IR patients.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or an associate's degree, technical diploma, or current enrollment in a nursing bridge program is required
• Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification are required
• One (1) year of professional nursing experience
• The ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skill
• Demonstrate good time and resource management skills
• Demonstrate flexibility
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
• Operate unit specific equipment
• Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration
• ICU experience preferred
