We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing employee leave outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines, and providing exceptional support to employees and managers. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to handle sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities :
- Review and assess documentation to determine appropriate outcomes for employee leaves.
- Resolve escalated concerns and exceptions with professionalism and efficiency.
- Communicate with employees to clarify needs, address inquiries, and provide resolutions to Human Resources-related issues.
- Enter and manage data within relevant systems while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for tracking purposes.
- Process payroll transactions in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Implement workflows for Human Resources processes using healthcare management technologies.
- Conduct training sessions for managers to enhance understanding of leave-related processes and policies.
- Educate employees on benefits, accruals, COBRA, short-term disability, and long-term disability as they relate to leaves of absence.
- Proven experience in client intake and application processes.
- Familiarity with microfilm and production environments.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare, human resources, or benefits administration is preferred.
- Experience in managing leave processes and payroll systems is an advantage.
