Job Summary :
The Research Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across Hager Companies by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market, industry, and competitive intelligence. This position focuses on understanding market and competitor trends, pricing dynamics, product positioning, and industry performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, business acumen, financial modeling knowledge, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic planning, product development, and long-term growth initiatives.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field required; Master's degree desired but not required.
Experience : Minimum of one year experience in market research, business analytics, or competitive intelligence preferred.
Skills / Knowledge : Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and data visualization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills . Proven ability to analyze large data sets and distill insights into concise, actionable recommendations.
Physical Requirements : Normal office environment which requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of up to 15 to 20 pounds, infrequently.
