Job Title : Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

Location : San Jose, CA

Job Type : Full-time, late afternoon / evening Modality : Primarily in-person, with potential for a hybrid schedule.

Job Summary : We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. The AMFT will provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role involves working under supervision to gain the experience required for licensure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide individual, children, couple, and family therapy to clients under clinical supervision.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Attending regular supervision sessions and participating in team meetings.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and medical providers as needed.
• Uphold ethical standards as defined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and professional organizations.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
