Primary Purpose : As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead initiatives in the planning and design of our electric transmission and distribution facilities. This includes converting input and requirements from various stakeholders into high-voltage substation designs while adapting to dynamic communication environments. You will provide valuable consultation and recommendations that influence our operations and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all technical facets of HV substation design and engineering projects, using your extensive engineering expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date credentials in specialized engineering areas and evaluate complex technical issues, providing informed recommendations.
- Guide project teams in executing large specialized HV substation projects, producing studies, proposals, and commissioning plans.
- Prepare bids, outline project scope, and manage budgets for engineering work.
- Communicate regularly with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Participate in technical and industry committees to stay informed about relevant technologies and issues.
- Act as an expert witness, providing informed opinions for regulatory committees.
- Work in the office or at project sites for a minimum of three days a week, with occasional remote work options.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems and apply advanced engineering principles.Experience in interpreting regulations, standards, and codes alongside a strong grasp of innovative technologies.Preferred Qualifications :
5 years of HV substation experience in various roles including planning, design, and construction.Leadership capabilities and experience leading engineering teams.Master of Science degree or Licensed Professional Engineer.Familiarity with analysis and design software (e.g., CYMDIST, PSS / E, Python, MATLAB, AutoCAD).Benefits :
