Technical Skills (Required & Preferred) :
Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Testing Lead on large-scale enterprise projects.Strong understanding of HRIS systems; SuccessFactors experience highly preferred.Comfortable operating in less mature, unstructured environments-able to bring order to chaos.Experience developing and executing test strategies, test cases, and UAT readiness assessments.Ability to lead without excessive oversight, make decisions, and communicate directly and effectively.Familiarity with manual testing environments and working with limited automation.Local to the St. Louis area or able to commute onsite 1 2 days / week.Overview :
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Test Manager to lead testing efforts for a high-impact HRIS implementation. This role requires someone who can drive meetings, make decisions, and bring structure to a chaotic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test management for large-scale ($10M+) projects, with a preference for those who have worked on HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors.
Key Responsibilities :
Own and drive the end to end test management strategy, shifting focus to 80% test management and 20% project management.Lead and facilitate test planning, scenario development, and execution.Evaluate current testing progress and readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Develop and tailor test cases and scenarios in collaboration with business stakeholders.Provide clear, confident decision-making and direction in a fast-paced environment.Offset project management burden from business stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.Identify gaps in current testing processes and implement disciplined, structured testing practices.Collaborate with integration vendor (Rizing) and manage testing within foundational tools like SuccessFactors.Be a visible, local presence-onsite 1 2 days per week, especially during onboarding and critical phases.Ideal Candidate Profile :
