Audio Visual/Information Technology (AV/IT) Operations Manager

We are searching for an AV/IT Operations Manager responsible for overseeing and coordinating the AV/IT, Engineering and Service/Maintenance departments with a focus on quality, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position has tremendous growth opportunity, including incentive to business ownership based upon performance and leadership ability. The ideal AV/IT Operations Manager will have strong leadership skills, experience in technology‑based project management, entrepreneurial experience and/or spirit and a commitment to upholding our company's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development
• Customer Relationship Management
• Operations Management:
  • Coordinate, manage and prioritize project and company related tasks and resources on a daily basis
  • Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure on-time and within-budget completion
  • Establish and enforce standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Manage AV/IT resources, including staffing levels, training, and utilization on projects
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining relationships and ensuring satisfaction
  • Address customer issues promptly and effectively, striving to enhance the customer experience

Essential Duties You’ll Need to Fulfill

• Plan, communicate, and track all aspects of the IM Solutions Operations department
• Lead weekly Line of Business (LOB) meetings
• Lead weekly Operations department meetings
• Actively participate in weekly Leadership meetings
• Work closely with Leadership team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards, processes, and procedures
• Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
• Work collaboratively with all IM Solutions staff for the greater good of the company

Required Qualifications

• Strong Leadership skills managing teams of 10 or more people
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Audio Visual/Information Technology based project management and construction methodology
• Commitment to people management with dignity and respect
• Entrepreneurial experience and/or spirit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability to technology advancements and changing project requirements
• Proficiency in MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS Office
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or technical degree preferred
• Knowledge of best project management practices and problem‑solving abilities

• Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds
