This Opportunity
FPA is currently searching for a full-time Structural Senior Staff Engineer in our Wall , New Jersey Office. We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with 3–5 years of structural design experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of building structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber materials.
Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Perform advanced structural modeling and analysis using software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, or similar.
Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated design solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Conduct site visits, perform field inspections, and prepare technical reports.
Assist with project management tasks including scheduling, coordination, and quality assurance.
Stay current with building codes, design standards, and emerging technologies relevant to structural engineering.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
3–5 years of professional experience in building structural design.
EIT certification required; PE license or ability to obtain within one year strongly preferred.
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RISA, or similar).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and / or Revit.
Strong understanding of applicable building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $74,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
