Paralegal - Personal Injury Litigation (Torrance)

The Opportunity

As our Litigation Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients’ interests, often in ground-breaking and newsworthy cases.

Accountable for

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, citation checking, and tabling documents
• Professionally communicate with clients, experts, courts, and defense counsel
• Prepare documents for filing in both state and federal courts
• Support our attorneys in all phases of litigation
• Manage and calendar court deadlines
• Propound and respond to discovery
• Maintain organized case files

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Ability to act independently and in a team-based environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Confident in a paperless work environment
• Knowledge of e-Filing and California rules
• Familiarity with California discovery rules
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Type at least 40 wpm.

Compensation

• $75,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
