The system features a comprehensive array of services, including a 24 / 7 Emergency Department, a Level II Cardiac Center, a Level III Stroke Center, and Level IV Trauma Care. It is well-equipped with two rural healthcare clinics and an urgent care center open seven days a week. These facilities have the capabilities to stabilize and provide advanced trauma life support for critically injured patients before transferring them to a higher-level trauma center, whether by ambulance or helicopter. The upcoming new facility aims to combine state-of-the-art technology with a healing, spa-like atmosphere, prioritizing quality, accessibility, and compassion in patient care. Community Details Elma, WA, is a community nestled in the Chehalis River Valley in Eastern Grays Harbor County, about 30 miles west of Olympia and 40 miles from the coast. Historically a commercial hub for local agricultural and timber industries, Elma has seen a shift towards a more diverse economy with an increase in commuters, retirees, and new commercial and industrial enterprises.
