Role Overview
We’re hiring a senior Client Strategy Director to own and drive strategy, execution, and outcomes across assigned client engagements. You’ll serve as the primary strategic partner to our clients—translating complex technology and transformation themes into clear messaging, GTM direction, and measurable results. You’ll manage the full client lifecycle from discovery through delivery, orchestrating internal resources and ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
This is a flexible, project‑based freelance role with the potential for ongoing work.
Responsibilities
Client Ownership & Accountability
- Own end-to-end client relationships for assigned accounts—serving as primary point of contact and strategic partner
- Drive project timelines, scope management, and deliverable quality across all engagements
- Manage client expectations proactively, identifying risks early and course‑correcting to ensure successful outcomes
- Lead regular status updates, strategic reviews, and executive presentations
Strategy & Advisory
Build positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, ICP definitions, and GTM strategies tailored to client business goalsWork directly with C‑suite and senior executives at global B2B enterprises to diagnose challenges and design solutionsTranslate technical complexity into clear strategic narratives and actionable recommendationsCampaign & Execution Planning
Convert strategy into detailed execution plans, content calendars, campaign briefs, and communication assetsConduct discovery sessions, primary / secondary research, and synthesize findings into simple, client‑ready frameworksCoordinate internal Yellow Pebble resources (designers, writers, specialists) to deliver on client commitmentsMarketing Systems & Operations
Leverage HubSpot, Apollo, and other tools to design CRM workflows, segmentation logic, lead nurturing sequences, and outreach campaignsEnsure seamless alignment between messaging strategy, audience targeting, and technical executionQA campaign setup and provide recommendations for optimizationClient Success & Growth
Monitor and report on engagement outcomes—tracking deliverable completion, client satisfaction, and business impactIdentify expansion opportunities and advocate for continued partnership based on demonstrated valueRequirements
Experience & Expertise
10+ years in B2B marketing, strategy, GTM, consulting, or agency leadership rolesProven track record of managing complex client relationships and delivering measurable outcomesExperience advising or collaborating directly with C‑suite executives at global B2B enterprisesDeep hands‑on experience with HubSpot, Apollo, and modern marketing / sales technology stacksSkills & Approach
Exceptional ability to translate complex technology, AI / ML platforms, or enterprise software into clear narratives and frameworksStrong project and stakeholder management skills—you know how to manage timelines, set expectations, and hold teams accountableOutstanding communication, strategic writing, and executive presentation capabilitiesComfortable working autonomously while coordinating cross‑functional contributorsLogistics
