About The Position

Shift : 8-hour guaranteed days (schedule may vary)

Specialty : OR / Anesthesia – Cataracts, Colonoscopies, EGDs, minor surgeries

Job Highlights

Local candidates within driving distance preferred

Ongoing sporadic coverage for PTO

No call required – all surgeries are scheduled

EMR : EPIC (4–5 hour training required, fully compensated)

Work independently but surgeon or provider will be present

Average cases per day : 11–15 cataracts , 3–4 other procedures

Trauma level : 4

Annual ER volume : ~5,000

OR setup : 2 rooms staffed with surgical techs, RNs, CRNAs, and surgeons.

Surgeons / Procedures

1 surgeon : Total hips & knees

1 surgeon : Scopes

1 surgeon : Cataracts

1 surgeon : Scopes + minor surgeries

Required CRNA cases include :

General adult & pediatric surgery

Minor nerve blocks

IV regional anesthesia

Spinal anesthesia (for total knees)

Regional anesthesia

Ventilation management

Local infiltration

Procedures typically include : Cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, minor procedures
