Division Chief – Pediatric Pulmonology

The Department of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, invites applications for the position of Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, innovative, and operational leadership for the Pulmonology Division within the Department of Pediatrics
- Be responsible and accountable for clinical and academic performance of the division
- Demonstrate a strong record of collaborative leadership and commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, innovation, and academic service
- Commit to mentoring faculty, trainees, and medical students
- Have leadership skills necessary for guiding faculty development and advancement across research, clinical, and academic missions
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) requiredEligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of Illinois requiredCompletion of an accredited Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship programBoard Certified in Pediatric PulmonologyHold credentials meriting an Associate Professor or Professor faculty appointmentDemonstrate ongoing research achievement, community engagement, and educational excellenceRush University Medical Center is a leading academic health system recognized for excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Compensation : Salary range $297,000 - $393,000 annually, including base pay, benefits, and incentive programs.
