Accounting Specialist

Job Title: Accounting Specialist Location: Salem, OR Job Details: Fully Onsite, Direct Hire, Full Time Compensation: $52,000 - $57,000 a year We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our client in Salem, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have 2+ years of experience in accounting and possess strong QuickBooks and Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS). Responsibilities:

• Processing and reviewing invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices.
• Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor files.
• Aid with vendor inquiries, prepare and process weekly check runs, and provide support to other accounting functions as required.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, assisting with month-end close, and accruals.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience within accounts payable/ accounts receivable
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
