Tramontina USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team at our Sugar Land, TX location. Only local candidates will be considered. This is an in-office position.

About the Role :

The Financial Analyst supports the organization’s financial operations by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities including Accounts Payable and expense management. This position is responsible for maintaining accuracy in financial records, analyzing vendor and expense data, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency and operational performance. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of accounting principles. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with the accounting, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, timely payments, and effective financial controls across the Accounts Payable function.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or Accounts Payable.
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and AP processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Quickbooks).
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize financial data clearly for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Perform analysis of Accounts Payable data, vendor trends, and payment cycles to support working capital and cash flow management.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses related to AP and expense accounts.
  • Develop and maintain standard financial reports and dashboards to monitor spending, invoice accuracy, and vendor performance.
  • Partner with accounting and procurement teams to identify process efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes by providing detailed expense and vendor data.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare financial summaries and variance reports for management review.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by leadership.
  • Skills :

    The required skills are integral to performing daily tasks such as analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting activities. Business analytical skills enable the candidate to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful trends that impact the business. Knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting ensures accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with standards. Proficiency in Hyperion Enterprise and Microsoft Access facilitates efficient data management and report generation, while pivot tables allow for dynamic data analysis and visualization. Preferred skills like advanced Excel capabilities and professional certifications enhance the analyst’s ability to deliver precise insights and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
