Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations, enhancing process efficiencies, and supporting strategic initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies such as SAP ERP, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and supply chain analytics to drive continuous improvement across our organization. The successful applicant will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, and procurement, with a focus on process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Utilize ERP systems such as Sage, and Power BI to analyze supply chain data and generate actionable insights.
- Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align production planning with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory control measures to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Support purchasing activities by evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement workflows.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI for supply chain analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards related to logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
Experience
Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong proficiency with Sage or other ERP platforms.Hands-on experience applying Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen events, and process improvement strategies.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for supply chain analytics.Knowledge of demand planning, production scheduling, procurement processes, and inventory control practices.Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and implementing corrective actions in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
