Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM); flexibility for days or nights preferred Hours per Week : 36 (rotating weekends) Unit : Cardiac Stepdown (IMC), ICU / IMC Float Patient Population : Adult / Geriatric Patient Ratios : ICU 1 : 2, IMC 1 : 3-4 Electronic Health Record : Medhost Dress Code : Black scrubs Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,200 - $2,260 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state (Arizona RN jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent U.S. travel nursing experience 1-2 years of recent ICU, Cardiac Stepdown, or Critical Care nursing experience ACLS certification required; TNCC and PALS certifications preferred Ability to float between ICU, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit) Experience with Baxter Infusion Pumps and GE Monitoring preferred Must provide resume, self-assessment, and skills checklist upon application Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Cardiac Stepdown and ICU / IMC units Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using advanced equipment and electronic health records Administer medications, manage infusions, and provide post-operative and critical care interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Float as needed between ICU, ICU Overflow, and IMC units to support patient care needs Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission accreditation standards Why Choose Lake Havasu City for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
