Description : What you will Do
Evaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to specialtyObtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patientsOrders and collects specimens for routine laboratory tests, screening procedures and therapeutic procedures, including blood and blood products.Orders physical therapy, occupational therapy resp iratory therapy, radiology examinations and nursing servicesPrescribe and monitor injectable osteoporosis treatments and infusionActive involvement in development standards of practice that are evidenced based for metabolic bone disease careProvide comprehensive care for patients with metabolic bone diseaseFacilitates collaboration between care with primary care, oncology, rheumatology, orthopedic spine, pediatric specialty providers and coordination of community resourcesParticipates in Quality improvement initiativesProvides and coordinates patient teaching and counseling.Orders physical therapy, occupational therapy respiratory therapy, radiology examinations and nursing servicesProvide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis and fragility fracturesPrescribe and monitor injectable osteoporosis treatments and infusionsJoin our esteemed team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant if you have experience in Orthopedics or Endocrinology.
