Weapons System Analyst - Junior - TS / SCI - Quantico, VA

Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Junior Weapons System Analyst for a position in Quantico, Virginia.

Junior Weapons System Analyst will :

• Evaluate current and future foreign weapon systems, both lethal and non-lethal, focusing on system capabilities, vulnerabilities, production, stockpile, deployment, proliferation, and impact to U.S. and Coalition forces globally. Develops analytical products to inform the U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition Communities of developments in foreign weapon systems.
• Perform all-source intelligence analysis to assess foreign military capabilities and technologies.
• Carry out research, develop intelligence products estimate assessments, deliver intelligence briefings in response to MCIA’s Program of Analysis (POA) and specific Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Utilize a variety of tools, methods, and software to collect, evaluate, interpret, and analyze data.
• Create and present written intelligence assessments and briefings tailored to tactical, operational, and strategic-level consumers, ensuring all products comply with Intelligence Community and MCIA standards and production guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate developments within the assigned portfolio to maintain up-to-date situational awareness.
• Conduct forward-looking research to identify existing and emerging foreign capabilities.
• Follow technology transfer and its military impact and ability of recipient countries to assimilate transferred technology.
• Meet annual production quotas for all-source intelligence outputs, including written reports and oral presentations, based on assigned responsibilities.
• Integrate and analyze complex data from diverse sources to determine the significance and implications of relevant developments within assigned subject matter and geographic areas.
• Identify intelligence shortfalls, recommend solutions, and submit collection requirements to address information gaps.
• Design and draft collection strategies and intelligence collection requirements.
• Correlate technically derived information across multiple intelligence disciplines and open-source data to support comprehensive analysis.
• Actively participate in and contribute to relevant conferences, forums, and events.
• Collaborate and communicate with counterparts across MCIA and other intelligence agencies to keep abreast of current developments, resolve issues, prevent redundancy, and to provide free flow of information on matters of intelligence interest.
• Provide specialized expertise to assist in the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and technological innovations.
• Conduct peer reviews and evaluate intelligence products for internal quality control and external coordination within the intelligence community.
• Provide portfolio-specific analysis, expertise, and intelligence production as outlined below.
• Conduct Threat Steering Groups with participants from USMC Combat Development & Integration to identify key factors and significant risk drivers for potential material solutions that may influence lifecycle cost, performance, schedule, and other acquisition decisions.
• Produce and deliver Validated Online Lifecycle Threat Reports (VOLTs), Critical Intelligence Parameters (CIPs), and Capability Development Threat Summaries to support Marine Corps Acquisition Programs throughout the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process, assisting the Defense Acquisition System.
