Radius Rule : 50-mile radius – must include a copy of unexpired driver’s license with submission

Skills & Duties

Must Have Skills :

General Med Surg nursing skills

Titration of basic drips (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Bumex – no cardiac drip titration)

Telemetry :

Monitored remotely by techs (Level 5)

RNs not expected to interpret strips

Charting System : EPIC

Scheduling & Policies

Shifts : 12 hours (RNs : 7–7 | CNAs : 6–6)

Self-Scheduling : No

Block Scheduling : No

Schedule Management : By manager; flexible around RTO, travelers expected to be adaptable

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Participates in rotation (RNs only)

Call / Standby : None

Floating Requirements

May float to other Med Surg, Med Surg-Tele, or IMC units for lower acuity patients

Dress Code

RNs : Navy Blue
