STR Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join our growing team!
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of one day ONSITE at our Levittown, PA office.
Schedule is M-F regular office hours.

Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely billing of services provided to clients admitted to STR Behavioral Health facilities, patient responsibility collections, posting of payments, verification of benefits and authorizations, and claims resolution and follow-up.
Position Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for weekly billing, researching payment discrepancies, and claims denial managementEnsures billing practices are ethical and compliant with company policies, and government regulations and guidelinesFollows HIPAA guidelines in handling patient informationPrepares appeal letters to insurance carriers, when necessary to obtain reimbursementCompiles medical records and documentation, to provide support to Utilization Review appeals process and Compliance department reviewReviews daily technical and professional billing charges for multiple facilitiesPrepares monthly patient responsibility invoices and performs collections follow-upAssures accurate billing based on services providedProvides excellent customer service. Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situationsResponsible for billing systems in maintenance, rate verification, and rate updates, including the application of contractual adjustments and allowances.Confirms admissions, transfers, and discharges with Admissions Department and reconciles weekly census to ensure the accuracy of billingPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications

High School DiplomaStrong work ethicGreat organizational skillsStrong attention to detailUp to date familiarity and knowledge with local insurance carriersGeneral knowledge of basic EMR and billing softwareFamiliar and competent with Microsoft word and excel packagesBasic knowledge of paper billing3-5 years experience working in billing for an OON Health Care Provider, preferably Drug and AlcoholMinimum 1 year experience working in an administrative position at a Health Care Provider, preferable in a finance positionPhysical Requirements
