Your Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist
- Utilize one-on-one ABA therapy principles to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, implementing therapy, collecting data, writing reports, and incorporating feedback from supervisors.
- Facilitate the growth and development of young children through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with your team to enhance treatment effectiveness, maintain safety, and ensure a fun working atmosphere.
- Interact with children through play, movement, and imitation, whether it involves running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing with toys, all while fostering a joyful environment.
- Communicate effectively and positively with stakeholders, including peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for necessary support.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift and move children in a fast-paced environment, which includes lifting up to 30 lbs and engaging in activities on the floor.Maintain a therapy-friendly environment by ensuring play areas are tidy, organized, and stimulating for children's enjoyment.Multitask efficiently while prioritizing safety and well-being for all parties involved.Work cohesively with your team across centers and regions, which may require occasional travel to support nearby locations.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by successfully finishing a 40-hour training program, demonstrating hands-on competency, and passing the board's exam.

Associates / High School : $20.00 - $24.00Bachelors : $20.00 - $25.50Masters : $20.00 - $28.00Your first raise is earned after obtaining your RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience :
