Accounting Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail, QuickBooks expertise, and a background in administrative support. As part of the retail industry, you will play a vital role in managing financial processes and supporting office operations to ensure smooth workflows.
Responsibilities :
- Manage financial records using QuickBooks desktop versions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely handling of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze essential financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Assist with payroll processing and provide support for tax-related tasks.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and maintain accurate personnel documentation.
- Support management with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, presentations, and conducting data entry.
- Coordinate projects by tracking milestones and facilitating internal communications.
- Maintain discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Requirements :
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks desktop versions.A minimum of 3 years of administrative or office assistant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage priorities effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with accounting principles and a commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
