Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and oversee the care of critical care patients in a busy ICUCreate, direct, and coordinate comprehensive patient care plansConduct and order diagnostic tests; analyze and interpret results to prescribe treatmentsWork collaboratively within an integrated healthcare teamEducate patients and set achievable health management goalsPerform critical procedures such as managing ventilators, completing central lines, intubations, and inserting peripheral arterial cathetersEnsure timely submission of professional service chargesAdditional Information
Must hold an active Massachusetts state license, DEA License, and state Controlled Substance RegistrationRequired certifications : American Heart Association CPR CertificationMinimum of 18 months of acute experience in ICU or similar settings as an advanced practice providerProficiency in performing all technical skills required in the critical care settingExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essentialBenefits
