Job descriptionManage and oversee the care of critical care patients in a busy ICU Create, direct, and coordinate comprehensive patient care plans Conduct and order diagnostic tests; analyze and interpret results to prescribe treatments Work collaboratively within an integrated healthcare team Educate patients and set achievable health management goals Perform critical procedures such as managing ventilators, completing central lines, intubations, and inserting peripheral arterial catheters Ensure timely submission of professional service charges Must hold an active Massachusetts state license, DEA License, and state Controlled Substance Registration Required certifications : American Heart Association CPR Certification Minimum of 18 months of acute experience in ICU or similar settings as an advanced practice provider Proficiency in performing all technical skills required in the critical care setting Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
