Lead Engineer at William Sonoma

Location : 4x / week hybrid in Phoenix, Arizona or Olive Branch, Mississippi

Duration : 12 month contract to start

IV Process : 3 round interview process with first round having 25 minute Java coding challenge and 35 minute technical question screening

Must haves(please do not submit if they do have) :

QA / Automation exposure

Backend Java, Spring Microservices, Kafka

Integration experience with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems, experience with& Manhattan Associates’& WMoS is required

Description :

Defines, programs, debugs and modifies tests for software enhancements and / or new products used in local, networked or internet-related computer programs. Using current programming languages and technologies. Completes documentation for testing, installation and maintenance. Exposure in Logistics Domain or setting up virtual inventories / warehouses.

Duties / Skills :

Java Lead with SpringBoot, Microservices, Kafka skill set and knowledge of automation testing and tools within QA

Experience working with multiple database tools like DB2, SQL, Oracle

Experience in Programming (Java, JavaEE, JavaScript / React, etc)

Expert with designing and developing scalable microservices using open-source Java Frameworks : Spring MVC / Web Flux and SpringBoot, Design patterns

Integration experience with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems, experience with Manhattan WMoS is required

Integration experience in Transportation Management systems, Manhattan Slotting, and Labor Management systems is nice to have

Work with Manhattan Associates to lead the design and development of new capabilities

Intermediate knowledge of the business systems and technologies within the Logistics domain (WMOS – warehouse management and 3rd party logistics integrations)
