Job Summary :

The IT Service Delivery Technician plays a vital role in managing the operational aspects of IT services. This includes hands-on management of IT service requests, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. The technician ensures optimal system performance, provides user support, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to service excellence by aligning IT delivery with business needs and enhancing user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Install and configure new equipment and software
  • Maintain and update existing systems
  • Train users on new technology and software
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement service improvements
  • Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Gather feedback and address concerns or issues
  • Document all service requests and resolutions
  • Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and software
  • Generate reports on service performance and customer satisfaction
  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects (e.g., network upgrades, UPS, AV systems)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Implement corrective actions to maintain quality and performance

Required Skills :

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving computer systems, networking, and software issues
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with IT Service Delivery or Project Management
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and SLAs
  • Familiarity with network and system configuration
  • Experience in service improvement methodologies
  • Certifications :

    CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or ITIL Foundation preferred

    Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

    3–5 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent work experience

    Education : Bachelors Degree

    Certification : Microsoft Certified Professional
