Email Marketing Strategist

The Email Marketing Strategist position develops strategy for designated campaigns to create, deploy and optimize the email marketing and SMS campaigns via Marketing Cloud. The Strategist analyzes opportunities for growth and development through data-driven insights, audience segmentation, testing, and personalized messaging. This is a cross-functional role; working with technical, legal, and operational stakeholders to deliver brand consistent and compliant communication plans.

Email Marketing Strategist Requirements

• Experience with email QA tools such as Litmus
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other email / SMS platforms
• Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, AmpScript, RegEx, Excel, Google Analytics, and Google Data Studio.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite : Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign preferred
• Experience with customer segmentation
• Copy writing and design experience
• Understanding of lead scoring and lead routing infrastructure
• Ability to prioritize and think strategically
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and a test-and-learn mindset
• Strong technical aptitude and / or background preferred with an eye for detail

Email Marketing Strategist Duties

Email Marketing Strategist Education : College degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Marketing / Business or related field preferred.
