Job Title : Powder Coater / Sprayer

Shift : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 00 pm

Department : Production / Paint Department

Reports To : Spray Department Supervisor

Pay Range : $18.00 - $23.00

The approximate pay range for this position is $18.00- $23.00 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities

Position Summary : Powder coater on an automated state-of-the-art GEMA continuous track line in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to interpret drawings and scan them accurately and reliably. Longer term will be involved in maintenance of the line.

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of spraying experience.
• Strong desire to learn on the job
• Ability to read blueprints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials
• Must have basic English language proficiency to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
• Deadline-driven and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Able to read a tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools.
• Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity.

Requirements :

Tasks / Responsibilities :

Be able to perform all positions on the line including hanging / unhanging parts, masking, part dry off, spraying, packing.

Learn to operate and maintain the paint line

Aid in the movement of component parts / materials to the production area, and of finished parts to next operation.

Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure proper parts are being produced.

Scan into and out of work orders correctly and record accurate count of welded assemblies.

Aid in other departments as needed by supervisor.
