Full Time - Sales Associate - Outside Lawn & Garden - Opening

As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe's. This is an excellent role for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home improvement challenges.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, answer questions, deliver friendly professional service.
  • Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
  • Down-stock merchandise by replenishing shelves.
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately.
  • Cross-train in other areas of the store.
  • Prepare merchandise (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe).
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months experience using a computer.
  • 6 months experience using common retail technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets).
  • Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic proficiency.
  • Capable of prolonged standing, sitting, and other required activities.
  • Lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodations.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
  • Bi-lingual skills.
  • Certification in a trade related to the department (hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber / building materials).

    • Travel Requirements

    This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

    Working Conditions

    Work may be in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions, exposure to varying climates, noise, and manual handling. Associates must follow lifting guidelines and use powered equipment as required.
