Overview : The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterological care to our nation s veterans and contribute to improving their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for veterans with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform routine and advanced gastroenterological procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities for the patient population.
• Participate in the training and supervision of medical residents and fellows, contributing to their professional development.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with VHA guidelines and policies.
