Hourly Rate : $18.84

DESCRIPTION / JOB SUMMARY

To provide a safe and secure workplace for employees vendors and visitors while protecting company assets

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Enforce security policies and regulations related to company operations

Monitor security camera to watch for disruptions or unlawful activities

Perform hourly rounds of the facility to ensure the premises are secure and employees are safe

Monitor incoming and outbound vehicles personnel and visitors

Assist visitors in a courteous manner while following all established company visitation policies and procedures

Respond to all emergencies and take appropriate action until emergency services arrive

Create and maintain a daily patrol log to document incidents and activities

Promptly provide management with detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents accidents or injuries

Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed

Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

Focus on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and / or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must be a team player professional detail-oriented and honest

Must have the ability to :

Multi-task problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

Read analyze and interpret general business policies professional journals technical procedures and governmental regulations

Write reports business correspondence and procedures including detailed incident reports

Effectively present information and respond to questions from employees vendors customers and the general public

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Communicate in a clear and concise manner utilizing a 2-way radio or cell phone provided by the company

Stand and walk for extended periods of time

Lift / push / pull 40 lbs.

Must have :

Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

A service weapon and the ability to safely carry the firearm under Mississippi Law

A tactical uniform; however company will provide logo shirts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic math skills

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of experience providing armed building security

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Active or retired law enforcement experience preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Firearm Safety Training

CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
