Job description35 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office management experience Strong knowledge of payroll, AP / AR, and bookkeeping practices Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and MS Office Suite Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work on-site daily in downtown Chicago Competitive salary and benefits Opportunity to take ownership of accounting and office operations Be part of a collaborative team in a central downtown location

Are you a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Our client, a growing company located in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish / English) Accounting Office Manager to oversee daily financial operations and keep the office running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Oversee payroll administration for staff
- Prepare financial reports and support month-end / year-end closing
- Coordinate with external vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support office administration tasks to keep day-to-day functions running efficiently
