LocumJobsOnline is working with Locum Tenens Partners to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Maine!

About The Position

Great ME Gastroenterology opportunity for Supplemental

coverage starting 9 / 22 / 25 or ASAP and ongoing.

Adult Outpatient (office / clinic)

Scheduled Clinical Hours

NO Call or Weekends

Shift : M-F, 8 hrs. w / 30 min. Lunch

Locum must be available to work at least one week per

month for the remainder of the year and into 2026.

No overtime unless preapproved.

Need provider to do scopes.

Endo procedures in the OR and maybe one day / wk. in clinic.

Prefer a provider who does advanced procedures, not required.

Required Procedures :

Lower GI Endoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy

Colonoscopy

Required types of upper GI Endoscopy :

with Biopsy

with Foreign Body Removal

with Banding of Varices

Diagnostic

Provider must be able / committed to covering dates listed :

  • September 22-26
  • September 29-Oct 3
  • October 6-10
  • October 20-24
  • October 27-31
  • November 24-26, 28
  • December 2025 - 2026; flexible

PPS : 14-16

Onsite Lab & X-ray

Endo procedures in the OR and maybe one day per week in

the clinic.

Support Staff : Full staff in OR.

EMR : EPIC

Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurrence Form

Malpractice insurance provided.
