Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent 45 hours of Child Growth and Development 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum (required if Lead for 2-5 year olds) 45 hours Infant- Toddler Certificate (required if Lead for 6 wk-24 month olds) Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development Commitment to ongoing professional development Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs. Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
